Extremely rare 1969 Firebird Sprint with the 4.1L OHC6 250CI, 230HP,
10.5:1 comp. ratio, split dual exhaust to a pair of Hooker Aerochamber
High Performance mufflers, Edlebrock 600 square bore 4BBL. carb., Taylor
8mm spiro-core pro vertex wires, Crane XR-700 electronic ignition with
matching Crane PS-40 Fireball coil, K&N air filter along with a Tornado
air flow element. Started chroming many engine components. Running a
blend of 93 premium pump gas with VP C-12 108 racing fuel. A/C rapid
fire plugs. Been having this car since high school some 20 years ago.
Restored back in '95. Currently driving almost daily. I do have it
registered with the Overhead Cam Registry formed by Jim Black and
sponsered by Mr. Jerry Woodland. Registration reflects only 243 2-speed
Sprint cars are registered making this model a very unique, one-of-a-kind
vehicle. The car still has the original transmission, ST-300, which adds
to the rarity of this particular model.
