1966 GTO Tailpanel

Wow! They finally did it. This tailpanel has been impossible to find for years. Nice quality.

GMR59..................... $299.00
requires oversize UPS

1968-72 Wiper Arms

Another shocker. Very impressive repro. set. Only difference is the lack of "Trico" stamping.

GMF210K .............. $95.00/pr

1964-72 Brake Boosters

These are Brand New Boosters not restored originals. Made by one of the OEM manufacturers that originally made them for GM. Very impressive. Note: Plating is not like some of the current restored units which are over restored. These are much more like what you would have seen on a brand new car.

GME20N - 1964-66...... $349
GME20AN - 1967-72.... $349

1967 Crank Handle

A somewhat well kept secret. 67 handles were quite noticably flat shafted whereas 68 and newer were curved. Even if you didn't care about originality, the quality is excellent for a reasonable price.

RPI316C ............. $10.00/ea

1970-72 Taillight Lenses

They're here! Beautifully done in all three styles. One of the largest GTO projects to date.

RPR70L - 1970... $258.00/pr
RPR71L - 1971... $238.00/pr
RPR72L - 1970-71
and 1972 GTO... $238.00/pr

1965 Headlight Bezel

Another major undertaking and as of this publication, the bezels are only a few days from arriving.

RPF65M .............. $150.00/ea

Window Regulators

RPD12A - 1966-67 LH. $75.00
RPD12B - 1966-67 RH. $75.00
RPD12C - 1968-69 LH. $75.00
RPD12D - 1968-69 RH. $75.00

1970-74 Sail Panels

These sail panels are different than the 75-81's. These are high quality molded plastic. Paint to match.

GFI48 ..................... $129.00/pr

1970-73 Tail Lenses

These Lenses have been impossible to find for years. A failed attempt in 2000 and 2001 didn't help. Now these quality molded lenses are available. They are also date coded 1970 the popular request.

A great time at the National Events this Summer.

GTOAA

There's something about viewing a field of 160+ GTO's from one angle and then viewing the snow capped Rocky Mountains from another. At least if you're not from the West I guess. The GTOAA Nationals are always smaller when they are held out west but there was definitely no shortage of excellent GTO's on Display in July. The weather was great. The vending area was probably a little disappointing for most but that is to be expected since almost all GTO parts vendors are from the east and it is not financially feasible to make the trek. Regardless, PY did make the trip out to Denver with a short list of Pontiac parts and a long list of restaurant stops for the kids. We did the best we could to bring and display the most popular items, some of the newest products and some odds and ends rare stuff we have collected over the years. This year's GTOAA marked the first Live broadcast of the event right from our Hotel window to the parking lot below. A detour to Yellowstone Park in Wyoming before the return trip to the POCI National event was well worth the time. We look forward to returning to the 2003 GTO Nationals in Columbus, Ohio on July 14-17, 2003. Look for our usual full display at that event.

POCI

The POCI event was held in Charleston, West Virginia this year and was probably the most bizarre Nationals we have ever been to. The event was in the Downtown area of a fairly large city leaving no tradional parking lot where everyone could meet. Pontiacs were spread out over an 8 block area until the actual show day where all the cars were located on the riverfront. Poor weather further dampened the ability for conventioneers to view many of the cars as they were hustled back into trailers after being judged. Still, there were many pluses to the event. The swap meet area was long and full and almost completely rain free thanks to being covered by a route 64 overpass. It was also somewhat centrally located amongst the various hotels and car show field and allowed for an excellent meeting place each day. Many fine restaurants were all within walking distance and we were greeted with a good bit of southern hospitality. As mentioned in the last issue, Tom Vaught, the winner of the PY Online Forums Spring Contest accepted his all expense paid trip graciously and we hope he enjoyed his stay. Next year POCI Nationals moves to St, Louis, MO on July 8-12, 2003.

Maple Grove

What is it about Pontiacs at The Grove and the weather forecast. For the last 4 or 5 years it has either rained or rain has been forecast. This year the weather forecast looked rather bleak on Saturday yet when Sunday arrived the conditions were fine. A little hot, but it was August. Despite the forecast, this years event produced the largest turnout yet with over 200 race cars and a rather large swap meet that dwarfed last year's. The car show totaled approximately 120 Pontiacs a count which was unchanged from last year and most likely because of the weather forecast. Next year's event could still become a 2 day event. Stay tuned.

Norwalk

What else can be said about the Norwalk event sponsored by Ames Performance and produced by Pete Woodruff of Super Duty Promotions. Each year this event has become the place to be for Pontiac enthusiasts. It's the only event that has a full size swap meet, attracts Old and New Pontiacs alike along with a huge field of Race and Show cars. With an extra emphasis on RACE CARS! Wow! Mix that in with the full support of PMD and the likes of Warren Johnson and other NHRA, Nascar and personalities and you have a full weekend of Pontiac excitement. You can bet yours truly has already got this event penciled in for August 8-10 on the 2003 calender.
