The Performance Years and Pypes Exhaust Open House and Car Shows is a 2-day event for owners and fans of American made cars and trucks. On Friday of the event, we create a more casual feel with an afternoon cruise-in, casual cruise in the local area and some great food. Saturday is an all day car show extravaganza. We have an ALL PONTIAC car show, "A Celebration of American Cars & Trucks" show, a free cruise-in area, featured cars, tons of activities and plenty of food for everyone.

Each year this event is growing larger and larger. We're expecting over 300 Pontiacs, over 300 other American cars & trucks plus more than 3000 spectators at our 2014 openhouse. Enter your ride or just come out to watch, this is an event not to be missed.

Thank You
The Performance Years & Pypes Exhaust Staff

Performance Years and Pypes Exhaust would like to invite all of our customers and friends to congregate in our headquarters parking lot on Friday between 9:00am and 6:00pm. We’d like to show some hospitality to the people who make our companies successful. We encourage everyone to mingle, talk cars, share some laughs and have a good time. Around 6:00pm we will start encouraging people to begin the casual cruise to a nice local eatery near our offices.

On Friday night, we invite everyone to join us on a short cruise down Lansdale's historic Main Street. Those of us who are locals nostalgically remember cruising this same street when today's "classics" were new. This is a casual cruise we expect to start around 6:00pm, details and directions will be provided at the event.

The destination of the cruise route is Margaritas Mexican restaurant, a popular restaurant a short distance from our offices. Because of the growing interest we've been getting, we've reserved a large parking area right next to Margaritas. With over 250 spaces in the parking area, this cruise could quickly become the highlight of the weekend. We know this opportunity will allow us to meet, greet and hang-out with many of the customers we don’t get to interact with. Plus, to allow our customers to meet each other, share knowledge and show-off your rides.

Before the hustle and excitement of Saturday's Car Shows, Performance Years is inviting all of our PY Forums members to the Fourth annual PY Forums Member Reunion. The PY Forums has been bringing Pontiac Enthusiasts from all corners of the world together for over a decade. It’s members can meet online on a daily basis but only occasionally meet off-line. This Reunion is the chance to meet or re-meet your Pontiac-lovin’ brethren you’ve gotten to know online.

Margaritas Mexican restaurant is the destination of our casual cruise and the location of this year's PY Forums Memeber Reunion. Tons of food and drink will be available (and we've confirmed a food discount for all cruise participants). Eating, drinking and BSing will start around 6:30pm on Friday night and continue until everyone is so stuffed (or inebriated) they can no longer move under their own power.

What can be better than ONE Car Show? Of course, the answer is THREE HUGE Car Shows hosted at one location. Performance Years is hosting the All Pontiac Car Show. Every year this show attracts more and more local and not-so-local Pontiacs in every condition between barely rolling and pristine concourse. First Pennsylvania Mustang Club is hosting the All Mustang Car Show. We expect a diverse group of classic and modern Mustangs to be in attendance. Pypes Exhaust is hosting "A Celebration of American Cars & Trucks" Show and invites American cars and trucks from all years, makes and models to come out. Expect to see a huge range of vehicles, from early Chevelles & Cudas to the latest Mustangs & performance trucks, all gathered into one location.

Enter your car or just come out to watch. Along with both car shows, there will be no shortage of things to do. Our showroom will be open for you to browse. Our Technical staff will be on-hand for you to quiz. We will be offering special discounts on PY and Pypes products. There will be locally sponsored food for you to enjoy. We are also booking a local band as entertainment all afternoon. But best of all, there will be plenty of your automobile lovin' brethren to talk cars and trucks all day long. Invite your friends, bring your family and have a good time with us.

The majority of the proceeds of ticket sales will be donated to the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the ALS Association.
ALS is a devastating motor neuron disease for which there is no known cause or cure. Although the cause of ALS is not fully understood, the last decade has brought a wealth of new scientific understanding about the disease that provides hope for the future. Lou Gehrig first brought national and international attention to the disease in 1939 when he abruptly retired from baseball after being diagnosed with ALS. Most commonly, the disease strikes people between the ages of 40 and 70, and as many as 30,000 Americans have the disease at any given time. Advances in technology and the genetic revolution are aiding researchers in unlocking the ALS mystery. As more scientists focus on this perplexing disease, the outlook for new understanding brightens each day. We are honored to do our part in raising both awareness of ALS and funding for it's research.

We are proud to announce that we've booked LIVE ADDICTION to entertain everyone attending this year's event. LIVE ADDICTION is a local band known for playing all the great songs Classic Rock 'n Roll has given us... from The Animals to ZZ Top with a little Pink Floyd in the middle. LIVE ADDICTION features... Len Dittmar - Lead Vocals/ Acoustic Guitar, Jeff Knieriem - Bass Guitar/Backing Vocals, Rich Palladino - Drums and Percussion, Tom Rasmussen - Lead Guitar/Backing Vocals. They get their influences from the greatest rockers from the 60's , 70's , 80's & 90's. Nothing goes with muscle cars and trucks better than the Classic Rock we've all grown up with, so we're confident you'll enjoy LIVE ADDICTION's contribution to Saturday's event.

On the left you will find a map of the show area (click it to see the full-size image). This same map is also in the Event Program but we've posted it so you can get an early "lay-of-the-land".

If you are visiting us on Friday, you can use the main Clemens Road entrance and park anywhere at the front of the building (marked Car Show Area A & B on the map). On Saturday, Clemens Road will be closed for the event so you will need to use Elroy Road (the next light NE of Clemens Road) and a left onto Fairgrounds Road to access the event (follow the green line).

We have recently made some changes to the event's layout. Chief among these changes is closing Clemens Road and allowing the car show to spill out onto the road. This should make crossing the street and moving between locations more convenient. We have also moved the hospitality suite and indoor featured parking to a more central location. Plus we've added bathrooms to various locations around the grounds.

Anyone who is bringing a trailer, there is plenty of parking behind our building. This area should provide plenty of space for trailer unloading and parking. RV parking will be available in the grass field near the Pontiac registration tent. Electric hookup is available from the building you will be parking next to (not pictured on map). That puts the RVs so close to the action, you might land on a Pontiac if you roll out of bed!!

There are plenty of both grassy and paved areas around the event area. Bring your blankets, chairs or even popup tents.
